  • How do I care for my Jewellery?
    Here are some quick tips to help your antique and vintage jewellery looking as good as 'new': ​ Store your jewellery in their pouches and or boxes when not being worn. Keeping chains fastened will help stop them tangling when stored. We always recommend storing your jewellery individually so pieces do not damage one another if they are moved during storage. ​ Every now and again, gently polish your pieces with a soft cloth. ​ Please keep your jewels away from water and lotions and remove when sleeping, gardening and exercising to help protect them. ​ If you'd like any extra advice, please email
  • What is the condition of the Jewellery?
    All our items are vintage or antique so will most likely show signs of age and wear. Condition is detailed in the description. Many of our items are repaired if needed, and all items receive a professional clean and polish upon dispatch. Restoring & Reloving Jewellery is what our main ethos is about!
  • What shipping services do you offer?
    UK Orders are sent Royal Mail First Class Signed For Delivery. This usualy takes 1-2 working Days and will require a signature upon receipt. International Orders are sent Royal Mail International Tracked (and signed if this service is available). This can take 3-4 working days for EU addresses and up to 10 working days for addresses outside the EU. Once your item is dispatched, you will be updated with the tracking number and you can track your item at I aim to visit the post office twice a week. However, if you need your item urgently, please get in contact and I will do my very best to get it out to you as soon as possible. I can also offer express delivery services, however charges will apply. Please email for further infomation.
  • How will my Item arrive?
    All items will be shipped in secure packaging and jewellery will be sent in a presentation box or pouch. Leathertte & velvet boxes are available to purchase and gift notes/messages can be added. Please add your gift message in the Notes section at checkout. I make sure all items are sent as discretely as possible so not to ruin any surprises! However, if your item is being shipped outside of the EU, we do have to use a customs shipping label which will specify what is inside.
  • Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
    Yes, we want you to shop with confidence and LOVE your purchase so we offer a no quibble returns policy. If for whatever reason the item is not right for you please get in contact within 14 days of receiving the package. We cannot refund original postage costs and we will require that items are returned securely, via tracked delivery. *From July 2023, PayPal are no longer refunding their fee when are refund takes place. This amount will come off your refund. This only is relevant when paying via PayPal. For this reason, I do encourage you to use Stripe (Card) to pay when possible. Please note that sized, customised or engraved items, cannot be returned. Exchanges are also available - please contact for further information.
  • What payment method do you accept?
    Payments will be made via Paypal and Stripe (Card). I do encourage the use of Stripe (Card) when possible as the fee's are much less.
  • Is the Jewellery tested for authenticity?
    Metals, stones, dates, etc are all examined by hallmarks. If no hallmarks are visable then metals and stones are tested and dates are estimated according to style, design, stones etc. As all our items are preloved, its likely we do not have the orginal paperwork, certificates etc. Diamonds over 0.30ct are tested and examined for clarity and colour.   • Do you offer Payment Plans?
    Yes we do, and for no extra cost! To make a purchase using a payment plan please email info@sobellejewellery for further info. Usually we would require a 10% deposit to secure the item. The remaining balance would then be paid via 3 monthly installments. However we are flexiable and payments plans can tailored to suit you.
